READ THE FAQS

We recommend your session take place between 28-34 weeks gestation. This is enough time for your belly to be the focus of your session but not so far along that you are uncomfortable. With that said, we have done sessions for clients who are already past their due date. As long as that baby is still incubating, we can get beautiful images.
As soon as you know you are going to want a session, please reach out. We love having time to really create a plan for your session. We do keep a few spots open for last minute sessions, so even if you are late in scheduling, feel free to reach out.
There are lots of great options for clothing. We love long dresses and denim. We love lingerie and bralettes with boxers. Ultimately, choose something that you feel good in and that allows for movement. We also have gowns at the studio for client use. Our stock changes, so please ask if you are wanting something specific.

If you would like to have your hair and make-up done for your session, please schedule your session for later in the afternoon or evening. Traditionally hair and make-up take 2+ hours longer than anticipated. Be sure to wear a button down shirt. We do not have a recommendation for artists.
Absolutely! Most clients include at the very least their partner. Please just let us know at booking so that we can plan accordingly.
Yes, you can. If you want to shoot both in studio and outdoors, please book a full session. The outdoor location should be within 10 minutes of the studio.
We typically recommend a simple session for maternity. It allows enough time for us to document this amazing time without wearing you out. If you want to include several other people, want multiple outfits/styles, want in-studio and outdoors or have more complicated requests, then you should book a full session.
Eeek! That can be so stressful and change the entire way you envisioned your pregnancy going. With that said, you are not alone. We have working with plenty of clients who have restrictions for the safety of their baby. We can make accommodations for your session that includes restricted movement, little-to-no standing, or sessions done in your home. We have even gone to the hospital for maternity sessions for clients. We can work around almost anything!
