I am an earth mama. That is really how it all began. There was a birth and a camera and they came together to create something beautiful and this barefoot, pregnant mama happened to be the creator. That is really where it all began. I wish I could say that I have always been an earth mama. I wish I could say that I have always had a camera in my hand. Neither would be true. Somehow along this path, I ended up that way.
My career began exclusively with birth photography. I loved the miracle of birth. At some point, I was being hired to photograph all types of birth. I realized the beauty of each and every birth no matter what the type of delivery. It was the best job ever.
In 2008, I began to offer portraiture in addition to birth photography. I specialized in maternity and newborn portraits. I realized how much I loved every aspect of photography. As those babies began to grow, Earth Mama Photography grew with them. We continued to photograph those babies and became a part of their family.
You will find that is how we do things. I love being a part of each of my client's life stages. Through pregnancy, birth and as your family grows, I get to be there to document it for you. I value my clients and hope that they will let me grow with them.
I hope that the love I feel towards my own family, towards each client, and towards your special life events radiates through the images that I capture through my lens.

Babies have always been a passion of mine. My mother owned an in-home daycare until I was 12 years old and she then became a full time mom. Babies have been my life for as long as I can remember and I love to be around them everyday watching them learn and giggle. This is more than just pictures to me- these are memories. It's your babies personality shining through the images that makes me love this so much more.
I am a PROUD surrogate mother of boy/girl twins that are seven years old and very proud former foster mama to a now 4 year old. And, my wife, Ana delivered our own boy/girl twins Ford and Davis in June 2018 and our newest addition, Briggs in March 2022!
We are a very active family, wild, rarely on time, love to travel, go-with the flow, super relax and we love a good dance party! Our kids are the world to us.

When I got a degree in Outdoor Recreation, I had no idea I would spend my time fixing hair, holding purses, playing with tiny humans and making cute dogs look at the camera. When I am not assisting at a session, I am holding a camera to capture behind-the-scene images or candids.
I love putting my knowledge of people to good use and you will find me helping make you comfortable in front of the camera. I especially love pet photography and working to get animals engaged with their humans.
When not at photo sessions, you will find me with my five kiddos and Elizabeth projecting at home. I love woodworking, building things, mechanical work and learning new things. Our farm house and homeschooling keep me very busy and happy. I love traveling whenever I can and spending time back in Utah with my family and being “Mimi” to my precious niece.
