before we arrive for the session...

Approximately 60 minutes before your session time, follow these steps:

  1. Please give your baby a bath.  This will keep them awake for a bit and help them to sleep better during the session.

  2. Right after the bath, put on what you want them to wear for the session.

  3. Feed them and keep baby happy and sleepy until we arrive.

  4. Be sure that the spaces we are photographing in are clean and orderly. Anything in that space will be in your photographs!

ITEMS IN YOUR SPACE WILL BE IN PHOTOGRAPHS!

have on hand for your session...

  • Milk (either mom or bottle or both)

  • Swaddle blankets

  • Plenty of diapers and wipes

  • Comfy clothing for baby

  • Simple, non crumbling snack for siblings (raisins, smarties, fruit snacks) and water only

  • Make-up/hair product for parents

  • Simple clothing for Parents- White, Black, Cream, Grey, etc with no patterns. Prefer simple and classic

rules for the session...

  • Please remember this is NOT a posed session. We will not be doing poses like we would in a studio session.

  • We do minimal parent posing, but will do our best to make you look beautiful and comfortable.

  • Plan for all parts of your outfits to be in images, so consider your footwear! Barefoot is always happy.

  • The items sitting around your home WILL BE IN PHOTOS. If you do not want something in your image, hide it ahead of time!

  • Poop and pee are normal. If we have your baby naked for any portion of the session, it can happen.

  • If you don't like something, feel free to speak up! We will certainly use our creative vision, but we welcome your feedback!
